Cohen and Wolf’s Employment and Labor Group provides practical legal advice on workplace matters.  Our experienced attorneys represent management and individuals in the areas of counseling and compliance, personnel management, employment litigation and labor relations. 

We help our clients comply with changing workplace laws, develop sensible policies and procedures, make effective personnel decisions and avoid legal risk.  We prepare employment contracts, severance agreements and restrictive covenants and represent clients in negotiations and collective bargaining.  We conduct workplace trainings and investigations for our clients.  When disputes arise, we zealously represent our clients in agency investigations, administrative proceedings, in state and federal court and in arbitration.

Our attorneys regularly represent clients in state and federal administrative agencies, in state and federal court, in mediation and in arbitration.  Representative areas include: employment discrimination and retaliation, grievance arbitration, reasonable accommodation and leave administration, trade secret protection, unfair competition, unfair labor practices, wage and hour disputes, wrongful discharge and other workplace matters.

The Group draws upon the skills and experience of the firm’s Litigation, Business & Corporate, Physicians' Practices and Tax Groups to assist clients.
