Overview
As a member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Employment Counseling & Litigation, and Probate Litigation groups, Sara strives to provide practical advice and continuous communication to her clients, keeping them informed every step of the way.
Sara represents both employees and employers in employment-related disputes, including discrimination, wage and hour, non-compete and harassment matters in state and federal courts. Sara guides employers to implement practical policies, compliant with evolving workplace laws, and regularly handles cases before administrative agencies such as the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
Sara routinely provides legal advice to landlords regarding best practices while navigating day-to-day issues to ensure compliance with applicable law. She also represents landlords before the Housing Discrimination Unit of the CHRO, and in residential and commercial evictions in the Connecticut Superior Court. Sara represents clients asserting and defending real estate title claims of adverse possession, quiet title, and prescriptive easement. She also frequently appears in Connecticut Probate Courts, handling probate litigation matters including creditor claims, will contests, conservatorships, and involuntary commitments.
Sara is resident in the firm’s Bridgeport office.
