Overview

Sara is a member of the firm’s Employment Counseling & Litigation and Litigation & Dispute Resolution groups. Sara provides practical advice and consistent communication to her clients, keeping them informed every step of the way.

Sara regularly represents both employees and employers in state and federal courts, and before administrative agencies such as the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in employment-related litigation, including discrimination, wage and hour, non-compete, and harassment cases. Sara also counsels employers on a variety of employment-related issues that may arise throughout the lifecycle of the employment relationship, from hiring through termination. Sara guides employers in implementing practical policies, including leave and reasonable accommodation, compliant with evolving workplace laws.

Sara represents individuals and businesses in a variety of commercial litigation matters. She routinely provides legal advice to landlords regarding best practices while navigating day-to-day issues to ensure compliance with applicable law. She also represents landlords before the Housing Unit of the CHRO and in residential and commercial evictions in the Connecticut Superior Court.  In addition, Sara advises and advocates for clients asserting and defending real estate title claims involving adverse possession, quiet title, and prescriptive easement.

Sara is resident in the firm’s Bridgeport office.
