Overview
Ari J. Hoffman is the firm’s Managing Partner. He is a trusted counselor and an effective advocate. He represents businesses, municipalities, universities, non-profit organizations, and individuals. His practice includes a wide variety of commercial trial work, with significant experience in complex business disputes and contract-related litigation, securities and shareholder disputes, intellectual property matters, premises liability, and real estate and property litigation. He also has extensive experience with alternative dispute resolution, representing clients in arbitration and mediation, before organizations such as the American Arbitration Association and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
Ari is also the chair of the firm’s Common Interest Communities Group. He has a large common interest community practice, counseling common interest communities of all sizes. He routinely reviews and amends community documents, prepares contracts, collects common charges and fines, represents clients at hearings, in court, and before the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, and provides general governance advice. Ari regularly speaks at seminars and educates Boards of Directors on applicable law and best practices.
