Clifford A. Merin

Clifford’s practice focuses on family law, criminal defense, and personal injury. In his family practice, Clifford provides counsel to clients in divorce, custody, and child support proceedings. He has litigated complex dissolution and post judgment cases in Superior Court as well as in arbitration and mediation. Knowing how emotional the day-to-day involvement is for clients in family cases, Clifford prides himself on finding creative solutions in an efficient and cost-effective way.

In his criminal defense practice, Clifford regularly appears in Superior Court across Connecticut for clients facing charges ranging from misdemeanors to class A felonies. Understanding how difficult navigating the criminal justice system can be, he works diligently for his clients to achieve a positive disposition.

In his personal injury practice, Clifford works to achieve the best results for his clients in the most practical manner. Clifford represents individuals who have suffered injury and loss caused by motorcycle and motor vehicle accidents, premises defects, negligent supervision, and other hazardous conditions.
