Overview
John is a member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Municipal, Criminal Defense, and Land Use & Zoning groups. His practice encompasses a wide range of matters, including land use issues, municipal and governmental disputes, and criminal defense. John has also conducted extensive research in the areas of landlord-tenant disputes, real property, and the Freedom of Information Act.
John gained substantial litigation experience through internships with the Office of the State’s Attorney in Hartford, Connecticut, and with a Connecticut-based law firm, where he supported attorneys in drafting pleadings and formulating litigation strategy.
During law school, John focused his academic and extracurricular efforts on litigation, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy. He was deeply involved in legal scholarship and student leadership, serving as Executive Editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal. John was also a finalist in the Hastie Moot Court Competition and held multiple student leadership roles, including Treasurer of the Mock Trial Board, President of the Italian American Law Students Association, and Vice President of the UConn Law Softball Team.
John is committed to building a litigation practice grounded in careful legal analysis, strategic advocacy, and clear, persuasive writing. He approaches each matter with a focus on practical outcomes while maintaining careful attention to procedural requirements.
