Cohen and Wolf Attorneys Honored at BCYL Scholarship Celebration

06.26.2025

On June 18th, Cohen and Wolf received special recognition at Bridgeport Caribe Youth Leader’s (BCYL) 2025 Scholarship/Education Celebration at Vazzano’s Four Seasons in Stratford. The ceremony was incredibly inspiring as it honored the hard work and achievements of BCYL’s students.

BCYL presented a plaque to Cohen and Wolf attorneys in recognition of over three years of outstanding support and dedication to BCYL’s SUCCESS & TAPP programs. The plaque was inscribed with a heartfelt message: “Your commitment and contribution have made a significant impact on our youth and community. Thank you for being a valued partner, true champion for education and opportunity.”

Over the last three years, Cohen and Wolf Attorneys Sara Bigman, Robyn H. Drucker, Emilio A. Estrella Terón, Jocelyn B. Hurwitz, and Stuart M. Katz have participated in mock interviews and other presentations with BCYL’s high school student programs. Cohen and Wolf supports initiatives like BCYL’s because it is a great opportunity both for the students to learn and for the firm to give back and connect with the community.

BCYL’s SUCCESS Program, which stands for “Students Understand College and Career Expectations,” is a program intended to empower young adults with knowledge to help them identify their post-secondary goals and to provide them with the tools to succeed. The TAPP Program is an innovative initiative designed for career-driven high school students passionate about pursuing a trade after graduation. Through TAPP, students gain the knowledge, confidence, and practical exposure to take their first steps toward a successful career in the trade.
