Cohen and Wolf Advises Consumers Petroleum of Connecticut in $151 Million Sale

Cohen and Wolf, P.C. served as counsel to Consumers Petroleum of Connecticut, Incorporated (“Consumers”), and its affiliates, in connection with its sale of assets and real properties to Global Partners LP, a publicly-traded master limited partnership with more than 1,600 locations. The transaction, which closed following FTC approval as required under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act, involved the sale by Consumers, Wheels of CT, Inc., and their affiliates of 27 owned and leased convenience store locations throughout Fairfield and New Haven Counties, as well as the sale of all operating assets relating to their fuel and retail convenience stores and wholesale distributor business in Connecticut and New York.  Advising Consumers in the transaction were corporate partners Matthew C. Susman and David M. Morosan.
