Cohen and Wolf Continues 75th Anniversary Service Efforts with Operation Hope Bag Lunch Project
On Thursday, August 13, 2026, as part of Cohen and Wolf, P.C.'s 75th anniversary year, attorneys and staff came together in service of the local community by supporting Operation Hope's Bag Lunch Distribution Program, preparing more than 50 bagged lunches for neighbors in need. The lunches, which included sandwiches, fruit, drinks, and snacks donated by the firm, supported Operation Hope's ongoing efforts to address food insecurity and provide essential resources to individuals and families throughout the community.
“Operation Hope’s work is essential to so many individuals and families in our community, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support its Bag Lunch Distribution Program again this year,” said Attorney Sarah Munro, who organized the service project.
Operation Hope’s food pantry is an important resource for local families and individuals, particularly on weekends when the organization’s Community Kitchen is closed. In addition to distributing food, the pantry provides essential items such as toiletries, helping meet basic needs with dignity and care.
Operation Hope works to end hunger and homelessness one person at a time through a range of services, including its Homeless Resource Center, food pantry, and Supportive Affordable Housing program, which provides safe, permanent rental housing for formerly homeless individuals and families. Its Food Pantry distributes more than 123,000 meals annually and serves more than 800 local families and individuals each month.
Cohen and Wolf’s participation in this project is part of the firm’s broader commitment to civic engagement throughout Greater Bridgeport and beyond. Many of the firm’s attorneys and staff are active in academic, civic, cultural, charitable, professional, and community organizations throughout the region.
