Cohen and Wolf, P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of three new attorneys to the Bridgeport office: Joseph C. Abraham, Madeline G. Diamont, and Gianluca Perrotti.

Joseph C. Abraham joined the firm as Of Counsel and is part of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group. His practice encompasses a broad range of civil litigation matters, including foreclosure, debt collection, debt resolution, landlord/tenant disputes, and mediation. 

For more than eight years, Joseph has represented banks and mortgage servicers in foreclosure matters. He has extensive experience with all stages of the litigation process, from negotiating favorable settlements for his clients to successfully litigating highly contested matters. He has also spent over four years representing property management companies and individual landlords in landlord/tenant disputes and eviction proceedings, giving him a comprehensive understanding of real property and creditor rights litigation. Joseph earned his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law, magna cum laude, and his B.A. from Dickinson College.

Madeline G. Diamont joined the firm as an Associate and is part of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Municipal groups. Her practice encompasses a wide range of matters, including land use issues, collections, and condominium disputes. Madeline has also conducted significant research in the areas of employment law, landlord-tenant disputes, real property, and the Freedom of Information Act. In law school, she focused her extracurricular studies and educational experience primarily on intellectual property, namely trademark and copyright law.

Madeline is a dedicated and detail-driven attorney who strives to center her practice on compassion and creativity. She believes effective representation begins with truly listening to clients’ needs. Madeline will take the time to understand each client’s goals, concerns, and priorities before crafting a tailored strategy.

Active in her community, Madeline is a member of the Board of Directors for the Barnum Museum Foundation, Inc. She obtained her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law and her B.A. from University of Texas at Austin.

 

Gianluca Perrotti joined the firm as an Associate and is part of the firm’s Trusts & EstatesTax, and Elder Law groups. He works closely with individuals and families to plan for the future by developing estate plans that are comprehensive, tax efficient, and tailored to achieve personal goals. Gianluca also handles estate administration and probate matters, supporting clients as they navigate these processes during some of life’s most challenging moments. He is dedicated to building long-term relationships with clients by providing legal counsel that is both highly skilled and empathetic.

While in law school, Gianluca served as Editor-in-Chief of the Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal. He also worked as certified legal intern in the Quinnipiac University School of Law Tax Clinic, where he represented clients in the resolution of tax controversy matters before the Internal Revenue Service and the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services. Gianluca obtained his J.D., magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law and his B.A. from Skidmore College
