Attorney Joshua Pedreira to Receive the 2026 Golden Tee Award Presented by the Cardinal Shehan Center
Cohen and Wolf is proud to announce that Attorney Joshua Pedreira will receive the 2026 Golden Tee Award, presented by the Cardinal Shehan Center, at the 42nd Annual Lisa D'Addario Shehan Golf Classic on Monday, May 4, 2026 at Race Brook Country Club in Orange, Connecticut. As this year’s recipient, Attorney Pedreira will be honored for his long-standing partnership with the Center and his support, which has helped enhance the lives of children through its educational and recreational programs.
“I am truly honored to receive this recognition from the Cardinal Shehan Center, an organization that does such meaningful work for the children of Bridgeport,” said Attorney Pedreira. “The Center provides a safe, supportive environment where young people can learn, grow, and thrive, and I’m grateful to play a small role in supporting that mission.”
Each year at the Golf Classic, the Center recognizes an individual as the recipient of its Golden Tee Award. Honorees are selected for their contributions to the youth of Bridgeport and for demonstrating a strong commitment to the children they serve. The Center offers an After School and Saturday Youth Development Program, Summer Day Camp, various basketball leagues, sign-up programs, physical education classes for grammar schools, and alternative education programs.
Joshua Pedreira is a Principal in the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Common Interest Communities, Land Use & Zoning, Municipal and Real Estate Groups. His practice is comprised of a broad range of civil litigation matters, including foreclosure, debt collection, debt resolution, breach of contract, and landlord/tenant disputes. Attorney Pedreira also represents clients with respect to various criminal matters, such as motor vehicle offenses, violations of protective orders, breach of peace, and assault.
In addition to his litigation practice, Attorney Pedreira handles transactional matters involving the purchase and sale of real estate, including extensive experience with short sales and deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure. He regularly represents and provides counsel to common interest communities, municipalities, businesses, and individuals in both litigation and transactional matters.
Attorney Pedreira has been named to the Connecticut Super Lawyers® "Rising Star" list for Creditor Debtor Rights from 2018 through 2025. In 2019, he was honored by Connecticut Law Tribune with a "New Leader in the Law" Award. Active in his community, Attorney Pedreira serves on the Board of Directors for the Cardinal Shehan Center, The Child and Family Guidance Center, and the Vasco da Gama Portuguese Cultural Civic Center.
