Greta Solomon to be honored at Susan L. Davis Business Women's Luncheon

BRIDGEPORT, CT - On October 17th, the Bridgeport Regional Business Council’s Women's Leadership Council will honor Attorney Greta E. Solomon with its Susan L. Davis Women's Leadership Award. Ms. Solomon, chair of Cohen and Wolf, P.C.'s Trusts & Estates, Elder Law, and Tax Groups will receive this honor at the Council’s 3rd Annual 2012 Susan L. Davis Business Women’s Luncheon.

Ms. Solomon has been advising clients in the areas of estate planning, elder law, and probate administration (including estates, trusts, conservatorships, and guardianships) for more than 30 years. Her knowledge of the tax codes and sophisticated estate planning techniques allows her to provide counsel on complex estate matters. She divides her time between the Firm's Bridgeport and Westport offices.

Ms. Solomon is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. She is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Ms. Solomon will be listed in The Best Lawyers in America (2013 edition) for her work in the areas of Tax Law, Elder Law and Trusts and Estates, and has been listed as a Connecticut Super Lawyer for the years 2007-2012. 

In addition to the Susan L. Davis award, Ms. Solomon has received numerous awards for her civic involvement. She was the recipient of the A.O. Samuels Young Leadership Award from the Jewish Federation of Bridgeport and was named the "Woman of the Year" in 1989 from the Women's Network of Greater Bridgeport. In addition, Ms. Solomon was honored by the Bridgeport Regional Business Council and the Conference of Women's Organizations in Bridgeport, Connecticut, as well as the Girl Scouts, Housatonic Council.
