Ellen R. Sutliffe Hain and Jenna A. Shankman Join Cohen and Wolf

Cohen and Wolf is pleased to announce the addition of Ellen R. Sutliffe Hain and Jenna A. Shankman.

Ellen R. Sutliffe Hain joined the firm as an Associate and is part of the firm’s Trusts & Estates, Tax, and Elder Law Groups. Ellen has significant experience in navigating the complicated long-term care system, and preparing for and filing Medicaid long-term care applications. Ellen represents and counsels fiduciaries in the administration of inter vivos and testamentary trusts, and estates. She frequently works with clients in advising and preparing estate and incapacity planning documents to meet her clients’ unique and specific needs and goals. Ellen obtained her B.A., magna cum laude, from Hofstra University, and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University. Ellen is resident in the firm’s Danbury and Westport offices.

Jenna A. Shankman joined the firm as an Associate and is part of the firm’s Family Law and Trusts & Estates Groups. In family law, Jenna represents clients in divorces, child support matters, child custody disputes, and post-judgment matters. In estate planning, Jenna represents clients in developing estate plans which protect themselves and help to conserve, distribute, and protect hard-earned assets through the execution of wills, trusts, and more. Jenna also assists in matters involving estate administration and conservatorship proceedings. Jenna obtained her B.A., magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University, and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University. Jenna is resident in the firm’s Bridgeport office.
