Discrimination Against the Asian American Community

04.16.2021

On April 16, 2021, we welcomed Dan Brody, Esq. for a Lunch & Learn focused on the recent trend of violence and discrimination targeting members of the Asian American community. Dan presented a compelling historical context for the discussion and shared his own personal experiences as well. He noted that while hate crimes in general have decreased during the Covid 19 pandemic, hate crimes against Asian Americans have actually increased. Dan is a litigator at Robinson + Cole and currently serves as the President of the Connecticut Asian Pacific American Bar Association (CAPABA).
