Cohen and Wolf Welcomes 2020 Summer Associates

05.22.2020

Cohen and Wolf is pleased to welcome Jonathan Shahar and Kaelyn Mostafa to our 2020 Summer Associate Program.  Cohen and Wolf’s highly selective and competitive Summer Associate Program provides an opportunity for law school students to work in a fast-paced law firm environment where they can gain practical legal skills and exposure to private practice.

The firm is very pleased to be able to offer our 2020 Summer Associate Program, notwithstanding the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.  In light of the firm’s ongoing remote operations, Cohen and Wolf’s traditional in-person summer program has been restructured and reformatted to allow Mr. Shahar and Ms. Mostafa to participate remotely.  Despite these changes, the condensed six-week program will include invaluable training, rewarding work, and participation in virtual firm meetings, internal training, social events and external proceedings.

Mr. Shahar is currently a law student at Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he is the President of the Jewish Law Student Association, student editor for Temple’s Business Law Magazine, and a member of both the Student Bar Association and Temple University’s Rome Law program.  His experience includes work as a legal intern at the Office of the Attorney General of Pennsylvania and as a research assistant to Temple University Law Professors.  Mr. Shahar earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from Pennsylvania State University.  He resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Ms. Mostafa is currently a law student at Quinnipiac University School of Law in North Haven, Connecticut, where she is Lead Articles Editor of the School’s Law Review and an active member of the Human Trafficking Prevention Project.  She has been employed as a legal assistant and has had several legal internships with local law firms.  Ms. Mostafa earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island.  She resides in Trumbull, Connecticut.

We look forward to a productive and successful remote summer program!
