Cohen and Wolf Celebrates 75 Years with Volunteer Day at Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo
As part of its series of 75th Anniversary service projects, Cohen and Wolf collaborated with Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo to host a volunteer and family event on Saturday, September 19. Cohen and Wolf employees and their family members spent time completing landscaping projects, including spreading mulch near the entrance and weeding the picnic grove and new playground area. After the service work, volunteers enjoyed a catered lunch sponsored by the firm in the Hanson Exploration Station, followed by time with their families exploring the Zoo.
“We could not think of a better way to celebrate 75 years than by spending time together while giving back. We thank Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo for the opportunity and members of the Cohen and Wolf team who participated.” — Jocelyn B. Hurwitz and Stuart M. Katz, Co-Managing Partners, Cohen and Wolf
According to Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo, volunteers are an essential part of the organization, contributing their time and energy to support its education and conservation mission. By engaging with visitors, caring for the grounds, and assisting with animals, volunteers make a meaningful impact on the Zoo community and its guests.
