Jocelyn B. Hurwitz served as Chair of the firm’s Family Law Group for many years. She represents clients in court in family law matters ranging from complex financial issues to high conflict custody and parenting issues. Jocelyn also counsels and assists clients who are interested in resolving their disputes through less adversarial processes, such as mediation and collaborative divorce. She collaborates closely with lawyers across the firm, both within and beyond her practice group, to achieve successful results, whether through settlement or at trial.

Within the firm, Jocelyn is committed to mentoring associates and supporting their professional growth through the firm’s Connecting Women @ CW initiative. Active in her community, Jocelyn has been serving as the Board President at Cold Spring School in New Haven since 2021. An advocate for education, Jocelyn is a valued partner for Bridgeport Caribe Youth Leaders SUCCESS Program and Great Oaks Charter School career events in Bridgeport.

Stuart M. Katz leads the firm’s Employment Counseling & Litigation Group. He represents employers as a counselor and advocate and also represents professionals and executives in matters relating to their employment. A former chair of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group, Stuart handles complex business disputes of all kinds. His clients include owners of closely held businesses, universities, financial services firms, medical and dental practices, and municipalities in cases involving claims of breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, violations of the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act (CUTPA), and various business torts. 

Stuart serves on a number of the firm’s management committees and chairs its Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. Outside the office, Stuart is a member of the Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association's New Haven Heart Walk. He is also a past-president and longtime member of the Board of Directors of Camp Ramah in New England.
