Attorney Greta E. Solomon and Advisory Committee Members Honored with 2026 Daniel F. Caruso Public Service Award

Cohen and Wolf is proud to congratulate Attorney Greta E. Solomon, along with members of the Advisory Committee on the Connecticut Probate Court Rules of Procedure, on receiving the 2026 Daniel F. Caruso Public Service Award at the Connecticut Probate Assembly’s annual meeting on April 22, 2026.

The award is given annually by the Assembly and the Probate Court Administrator to recognize an individual or group that has demonstrated exceptional commitment to the mission of the Probate Courts.

The recipients were honored for their exceptional support of the mission of the Probate Courts and the rule of law, as well as for their leadership, dedication, and commitment to serving on the Advisory Committee on the Connecticut Probate Court Rules of Procedure.

Greta Solomon is chair of Cohen and Wolf's Trusts & Estates, Elder Law, and Tax Groups. With decades of experience, she assists clients in the areas of estate planning, elder law, and probate administration, including estates, trusts, conservatorships, and guardianships.

Greta is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). She is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). Greta serves on the Board of Directors of Marrakech, Inc., an organization that provides person-centered and unique human services for individuals with and without disabilities throughout Connecticut. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of her synagogue, Or Shalom, located in Orange, CT. Greta is a frequent lecturer on topics related to estate planning and special needs trusts and regularly participates in continuing legal education programs sponsored by the Connecticut Bar Association and the Bridgeport Bar Association.

Greta is listed in The Best Lawyers in America© (2013-2026) for her work in the areas of Tax Law, Elder Law, and Trusts and Estates, and in 2022 and 2024, Greta was named "Lawyer of the Year" by Best Lawyers in America® for her work in Elder Law in the Stamford, Connecticut Metro area.
