Cohen and Wolf, PC proudly announces its participation with "Operation Hope - Eliminating Hunger and Homelessness in Fairfield, CT" (operationhopect.org) as part of their ongoing commitment to community service.

Operation Hope's Bagged Lunch Distribution program is an initiative aimed at alleviating food insecurity in the Bridgeport community. The program ensures that individuals in need receive nutritious meals, specifically during weekends when the Community Kitchen at Operation Hope is closed. These lunches are thoughtfully prepared and generously donated by residents, businesses, and other affiliations throughout the area.

Cohen and Wolf's employees selected Operation Hope as the beneficiary of its July Denim Fridays initiative, encouraging employees to make a charitable contribution and wear jeans to the office. The initiative raised enough funds to provide more than 60 bagged lunches, and employees gathered in July and September to assemble and deliver the lunches.

Robyn Drucker, a member of the firm's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, shared her perspective on the importance of their engagement. "I am always looking for partners and meaningful ways to support our local community. Food insecurity is a major issue in Greater Bridgeport. I also thought it was nice that Cohen and Wolf's employees had multiple ways to participate – via monetary donations, by wearing jeans to the office, and/or preparing the meals," remarked Drucker, emphasizing the inclusive and collaborative spirit within the firm.

Michael Rosten, Coordinator of the firm's Residential Real Estate practice says, "As a long-time volunteer and former Board Chair of Operation Hope, I was thrilled to see our involvement with this bagged lunch program. In addition to dealing with the issue of food insecurity, Operation Hope has addressed the issue of homelessness in Fairfield for several decades. Operation Hope owns and operates many units of supportive affordable housing. Our firm has provided pro bono services to Operation Hope in the acquisition of several of these properties."

Cohen and Wolf, PC's involvement in community service projects like this reflects the firm's long-standing dedication to the Greater Bridgeport area. Many of the firm's attorneys are personally engaged in various academic, civic, cultural, political, and religious organizations. Their collective commitment to this tradition of service motivates them to seize opportunities to strengthen their community while serving others.
