Annmarie P. Briones Joins Cohen and Wolf, P.C.

BRIDGEPORT, CT – Cohen and Wolf, P.C., a full-service law firm with four offices in Fairfield and New Haven counties, is pleased to announce that Annmarie P. Briones, has become Of Counsel to the firm, joining our Family Law and Litigation Practice Groups.

Ms. Briones brings over nineteen years of litigation experience, most recently concentrating in family and matrimonial matters in Connecticut. She is a vigorous advocate in both pendente lite and post judgment issues, and has served as a court appointed Guardian ad Litem and Attorney for Minor Children. Ms. Briones has also represented parents and their children with special needs. She has served on the Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital Family Advisory Council and currently serves on the Education Committee of the Connecticut Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. “Annmarie’s experience as a seasoned matrimonial practitioner will be a terrific complement to our strong Family Law and Litigation Groups,” stated David A. Prior to joining Cohen and Wolf, P.C., Ms. Briones was a Family Trial Attorney at the Law Offices of Gary I. Cohen in Stamford, CT, and before that, a Civil Trial Attorney at Newman, Levy & Sheehan in Fairfield, CT.

Ms. Briones received her undergraduate degree from Fairfield University and her Juris Doctorate from Pace University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York, and is a member of the Connecticut and New York Bar Associations, the Fairfield County Bar Association and the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association.
