Alexander Copp Recognized for Excellence by The Fairfield County Business JournalĀ

Cohen and Wolf, P.C. is pleased to announce that Alexander Copp has been named to the Fairfield County Business Journal’s “40 Under Forty” list.

Mr. Copp was named to the 2022 Fairfield County Business Journal’s “40 Under Forty” list for his leadership, commitment, and outstanding accomplishments in the field of law. Drawing from the corporate, nonprofit and governmental worlds, the Journal’s list recognizes 40 of the best, brightest and most promising business and community leaders in Fairfield County who are under the age of 40.

Recently, Mr. Copp was included on Benchmark Litigation’s 2022 “40 & Under Hot List,” a list which names practitioners who are consistently referenced by peers and clients during their research process. Benchmark considers these individuals to be among the top young talent in their respective litigation communities.

Joining Cohen and Wolf, P.C. in 2014 as an Associate, Mr. Copp became a Principal of the firm in 2021. Mr. Copp regularly advises individuals, businesses, and municipalities in a wide range of matters, focusing primarily on civil litigation involving land use, landlord-tenant issues, probate litigation, defamation, employment discrimination, and business litigation.

In addition to being named “New Leader in the Law” by the Connecticut Law Tribune in 2020, Mr. Copp is listed on the Connecticut Super Lawyers® list as a “Rising Star” in the area of General Litigation (2018 2020). From 2016-2018, Mr. Copp served as Chair of the CBA Young Lawyers Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law.

Mr. Copp is a resident of Newtown, Connecticut.
