We have all witnessed recent events that will leave an indelible mark on our country. The horrific manner in which George Floyd was killed at the hands of four police officers in Minneapolis, and the recent killings of Ahmaud Arbery in Georgia and Breonna Taylor in Kentucky have exposed the societal plight of black people and all people of color. The revolting image of a handcuffed man being put to death by law enforcement has proven to be a window into a pattern of racial discrimination which all people of conscience must clearly reject.

We have always been proud of our law firm – not just because of our absolute commitment to our clients, but also because of the high moral and ethical standards that we have set for ourselves. Cohen and Wolf has a long tradition of encouraging and supporting our attorneys in their work in the community, support of charitable causes, and pro bono activities. As we watch the anguish of minority communities around the nation, it is imperative that we speak up, and do so with clarity. We reject racism and bigotry in all of its forms. We recognize that people of color are subjected to daily indignities that are not acceptable. We will not stand idly by as injustices are committed, as people are suffering, and as our Constitution is ignored.
