Litigation Associate Joins Cohen and Wolf, P.C.
BRIDGEPORT, CT (May 22, 2013) - Cohen and Wolf, P.C. has added Dyan Kozaczka as an associate in its Litigation Group. She will split her time between the firm’s Bridgeport and Orange offices.
Ms. Kozaczka represents parties in the areas of commercial litigation, foreclosure, and contested bankruptcy and adversary proceedings, at all stages of litigation, including trials and appeals. Additionally, she defends clients in claims of fraud, title disputes, and statutory violation claims, including FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act), TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and RESPA (Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act). Ms. Kozaczka acts on behalf of clients in a wide range of litigation including prosecuting and defending claims of unjust enrichment, contract disputes, and unfair trade practices. Ms. Kozaczka also practices family law and represents individuals in divorce and custody actions, as well as serving as a divorce mediator.
Prior to joining Cohen and Wolf, P.C., she was an associate in the Farmington office of Bendett & McHugh, P.C., and before that, the Law Offices of Helen Allen in Danbury.
Ms. Kozaczka earned her B.A. degree from Boston College and her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law.
She is admitted in Connecticut and Massachusetts, as well as in the United States District Courts for the Districts of Connecticut, Massachusetts and Vermont.
