DAVID B. ZABEL is a principal in Cohen and Wolf's Litigation, Employment & Labor, Municipal and Bankruptcy Groups. Resident in the firm's Bridgeport office, Mr. Zabel has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts as well as arbitration proceedings, including representing policyholders in coverage disputes with insurers; real estate litigation; disputes involving closely held businesses; business torts; probate litigation; municipal litigation; and complex bankruptcy proceedings. In the employment arena, Mr. Zabel represents primarily business owners and management and counsels employers in a wide variety of employment matters, including discrimination and wrongful discharge claims, restrictive covenants, employment agreements, and personnel policies and procedures.

Mr. Zabel is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Sections of the Greater Bridgeport, Connecticut and American Bar Associations, and the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. He has been named to the Connecticut Bar Association Pro Bono Honor Roll (2001–2006, 2008). He is admitted to practice in Connecticut; New Jersey; U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut; U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey; U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit; U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit; and the United States Supreme Court.
