Susan practices in the areas of criminal defense and family law.

Susan has a rare talent for explaining complex legal issues in a compelling yet accessible way, and she has shared her insights with the media on numerous high-profile matters, including cases involving O.J. Simpson, David Letterman, Tiger Woods, and Jon Benet Ramsey. Susan also has dissected the legal issues concerning Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, and Bernie Madoff, bringing a wealth of practical courtroom experience to audiences with her incisive and no-nonsense approach.

In May 2005, she worked with NBC News and MSNBC to provide exclusive legal analysis of the Michael Jackson trial from Santa Maria, California. Susan subsequently became NBC News’ go-to legal analyst, often appearing on The Today Show and became a Senior Legal Analyst on MSNBC.
