Cohen and Wolf, P.C. Welcomes Summer Associates
BRIDGEPORT, CT - Cohen and Wolf, P.C. is pleased to announce that Melanie S. Bellini and John T. Cigno have joined the firm as Summer Associates for 2016.
Ms. Bellini received her B.A. from Wellesley College in 2012, where she majored in Middle Eastern Studies and Spanish. She joins Cohen and Wolf, P.C. having completed her second year at Boston College Law School where she is a member of the Women’s Initiative Committee. Ms. Bellini has worked as a Trusts & Estates intern, and she has served as a pro bono paralegal in Guantanamo Bay habeas proceedings. She speaks fluent Spanish and is conversant in Italian and Modern Standard Arabic.
Mr. Cigno received his A.B. from Lafayette College in 2014, where he majored in Government & Law. He comes to Cohen and Wolf, P.C. having completed his second year at University of Connecticut School of Law where he was elected Notes and Comments Editor of the Connecticut Law Review and received a CALI Excellence Award for his performance in Moot Court. Mr. Cigno has worked as a paralegal in the areas of corporate law, litigation and intellectual property law. More recently, Mr. Cigno interned as a law clerk for the Hon. Alfred V. Covello of the U.S. District Court of Connecticut.
