Jordan Sala Elected Treasurer to the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association
BRIDGEPORT, CT – Jordan E. Sala has been elected as Treasurer to the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association (“GBBA”).
Jordan has been an active member of the GBBA since 2017. She is Co-Chair of the Young Lawyers Section and has served on the Board of Directors since 2019. As Treasurer and Officer of the Board of Directors, Jordan will be instrumental in furthering the GBBA’s goals to promote excellence in the legal profession, advance the interests of GBBA members, further the cause of justice and fairness, and serve as a resource to the Bridgeport community.
Jordan is an attorney with Cohen and Wolf, P.C, where she is a member of the firm’s Employment & Labor and Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice groups. Her practice focuses on matters involving discrimination and retaliation claims, wage and hour disputes and non-competition agreements. Jordan works closely with businesses and executives to provide guidance on personnel matters, employee handbooks, employee classification, and employment law compliance. She litigates in both state and federal court and before administrative agencies. Jordan is admitted in practice in Connecticut and the U.S. District Court District of Connecticut.
Jordan earned her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law. She earned her B.A. in Communications Studies and Political Science from Vanderbilt University.
