MARK A. KIRSCH is a principal and chair of Cohen and Wolf, P.C's  Real Estate Group and a member of the Common Interest Community Group. Resident in the firm's Bridgeport office, Mr. Kirsch practices in the area of commercial real estate, where he is involved in all aspects of acquisition, conveyance, financing, leasing and development. He has extensive experience in the law of common interest communities, including drafting offering statements and other formation documents, community association borrowing, and reviewing and amending common interest community documents. He also devotes significant time to commercial lending, representing both borrowers and lenders in connection with loans secured by real and personal property.

 

Mr. Kirsch is admitted to practice in Connecticut, the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut, and New York, and is a member of the American, New York, Connecticut , and Greater Bridgeport Bar Associations. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Real Estate Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, and a member of the Fairfield/Westchester Chapter of the Real Estate Finance Association of Connecticut. Mr. Kirsch was recognized as a leading lawyer in Connecticut in the area of Real Estate Law by the 2010 edition of Chambers USA - America's Leading Lawyers for Business.

 

Mr. Kirsch is a past chair of the Board of Directors of Leadership Greater Bridgeport. He also currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council, and as a member of the Board of Trustees and First Vice President of Congregation B'nai Israel in Bridgeport, CT. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Center for Community Services and a past chair of its Allocations Committee.

 

Mr. Kirsch received his B.S., magna cum laude , in 1982 from the State University of New York at Albany , and his J.D. in 1985 from Boston University School of Law.
