HEATHER SPAIDE is an associate in Cohen and Wolf's Litigation, Personal Injury, Employment & Labor and Family Law Groups. Resident in the firm’s Bridgeport office, Ms. Spaide practices in the areas of commercial litigation, employment law and family law.
Ms. Spaide was previously a litigation associate at Casper & de Toledo, LLC in Stamford, and at Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, P.C. in New Haven.
She is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. She is a member of the American and Connecticut Bar Associations, and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. Spaide currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section.
Ms. Spaide was a contributing author with Gary Phelan, Tammy Marzigliano and Steve Sheinberg for "A 2005 Update on the Latest Developments in the Americans with Disabilities Act" The Employee Advocate Fall 2005: 16-41. Ms. Spaide was also a contributing editor for: Cook, Susan E., "Genocide in Cambodia and Rwanda: New Perspectives" Yale Center for International and Area studies, 2004.
She received her B.A., in 2002, from Fairfield University, Magna Cum Laude. Ms. Spaide received her J.D., in 2006, from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she served as articles editor for the Connecticut Journal of International Law.
