Stewart Edelstein Co-Chairs Seminar on New Federal Rules on Electronic Evidence

On February 7, 2007, Stewart Edelstein, Head of the firm's Litigation Group, co-chaired a seminar for The Civil Justice Foundation, Inc. (formerly the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association), on the recent amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. The seminar included discussion of the following:

• mandatory initial disclosure
• inadvertent disclosure of privileged material
• interrogatories and document production
• spoliation of evidence
• the legal hold to avoid a spoliation claim

Mr. Edelstein represents clients in all aspects of commercial litigation. He regularly represents Fortune 500 and other national corporations in complex disputes of all types. Mr. Edelstein also has extensive experience in construction litigation matters. He teaches trial advocacy at Yale Law School, and is a frequent faculty member at National Institute for Trial Advocacy seminars and at the Connecticut Trial Advocacy Institute. Mr. Edelstein is a frequent writer and speaker on litigation-related topics.
