Seven Cohen and Wolf Attorneys Recognized as Women High Achievers, Connecticut Law TribuneSeven attorneys from Cohen and Wolf are featured in a special section on high achieving women in the law, published by the Connecticut Law Tribune. The section highlights their professional achievement and community service. Four of the featured attorneys chair their practice group at the 50-lawyer firm. Jocelyn B. Hurwitz chairs the Family Law group at Cohen and Wolf and serves on the Connecticut Council for Divorce Mediation and Collaborative Law. Robin A. Kahn, a principal in the firm's real estate group, brings more than 25 years of experience representing real estate developers and owners of commercial, residential and industrial property to her role as principal at the firm. Julie D. Kohler, chairs Cohen and Wolf's Telecommunications & Utilities group and is co-chair of the Land Use group. Ms. Kohler is one of a handful of women lawyers in the state who represents national telecommunications providers and tower companies. Rosamond A. Koether ("Roz") focuses her practice on residential and commercial real estate and small business. Last year, Koether closed more than 100 residential and commercial real estate transactions. Ms. Koether also coaches a youth league baseball team and is working on a committee to expand a school in Westport dedicated to educating children with learning differences. Barbara M. Schellenberg practices in the areas of appellate litigation and land use law. During her career, Ms. Schellenberg has won numerous appeals in the Appellate and state Supreme Court. In June 2006 she won a significant land use appeal in the Supreme Court that enabled her client to proceed with development plans in the City of New Haven. Greta E. Solomon chairs the firm's Trusts & Estates and Tax Groups. Ms. Solomon has been assisting clients in the areas of estate planning, elder law and probate administration for more than 30 years. Patricia C. Sullivan co-chairs the Land Use group at Cohen and Wolf. Ms. Sullivan has tried more than 40 land use cases to judgment and appears regularly before Connecticut's appellate courts. She serves as associate town attorney for Wilton, Weston and Ridgefield, and represents the land use boards in the Town of Orange.
