Cohen and Wolf Welcomes Law Students as Summer Associates

Bridgeport, CT, June 6, 2008 - Two students from top-ranked law schools have joined Cohen and Wolf, P.C. as summer associates. Kelly Reardon of Boston College Law School and Elizabeth Ullman of the University of Connecticut Law School, both scheduled to graduate in 2009, will be working alongside the Firm's team of lawyers on various legal matters.

"The summer associate program has been an integral part of Cohen and Wolf over the years," said Irving J. Kern, the firm's managing partner. "We are excited to welcome these two outstanding young women to the Connecticut legal community."

  • Kelly Reardon is President of the Law Student Association (LSA), the elected student government for Boston College Law School. Prior to choosing the law as a career, Ms. Reardon spent six years as a television news reporter for three New England TV stations: WTIC (Hartford); WPTZ (Colchester, VT) and WVNY (Burlington). Last summer, she served as a judicial intern to Senior United States District Judge Alfred Covello in Hartford. Ms. Reardon has earned masters degrees from the London School of Economics and Political Science and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University.
  • Elizabeth Ullman is a member of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal at the University of Connecticut Law School in Hartford. She has been a legal intern for U.S. District Court Judge Peter J. Dorsey; the Bronx Defenders; the New Haven Legal Assistance Association and the Criminal Bureau of the Office of the Attorney General in Boston, MA. Ms. Ullman earned her undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University.
