Cohen and Wolf Continues to Expand By Opening New Office in Orange

Orange, CT, February 26, 2008 - Cohen and Wolf, P.C., one of Connecticut's leading law firms, continues its recent expansion with the opening of a new office in Orange, CT.

The new Cohen and Wolf office - located at 657 Orange Center Road - will be primarily utilized by six principals and three associates. They will be backed by the resources and diverse capabilities of the full-service law firm's 50 attorneys.

"The move into Orange is a reflection of our continuing growth in Connecticut and our commitment to be close to our clients."

Cohen and Wolf has a long-standing relationship with the Town of Orange. Vincent M. Marino, Partner in charge of the new office, currently serves as the Town Attorney for Orange. Many of the firm's lawyers also live in the Greater New Haven area and have been very active in community service.

The opening of the office in Orange follows the expansion of Cohen and Wolf's office in Westport last summer and the addition of several attorneys in the Bridgeport office.

The new Orange office will increase Cohen and Wolf's ability to provide businesses and individuals in Orange and Woodbridge, as well as the Greater New Haven area, with a wide range of legal services in the areas of corporate and business transactions, real estate, land use, trusts & estates, employment law, divorce and family law, securities law, and all types of litigation.

The nine Cohen and Wolf lawyers who will be affiliated with the Orange office are:

  • Vincent M. Marino (principal) - Mr. Marino has served as Orange Town Attorney since 2006. Mr. Marino practices in the areas of commercial litigation, construction litigation, municipal law and bankruptcy.
  • Jocelyn B. Hurwitz (principal) - Ms. Hurwitz chairs the family law group at Cohen and Wolf where she maintains a distinguished practice in all aspects of matrimonial law.
  • Stuart M. Katz (principal) -  Mr. Katz chairs Cohen and Wolf's employment and labor group. He currently serves as President of Temple Beth Sholom in Hamden. Mr. Katz will be recognized in the 2008 edition of "Chambers USA - America's Leading Lawyers for Business" as a leading individual in Connecticut in the area of Employment & Labor Law.
  • Julie D. Kohler (principal) - Ms. Kohler is co-chair of Cohen and Wolf's Land Use and Zoning group and chairs the firm's Telecommunications & Utilities practice.
  • Richard Slavin (principal) - Mr. Slavin chairs Cohen and Wolf's Securities Law group. He practices in the areas of securities regulation, securities arbitrations, securities litigation in federal and state court, and banking regulation.
  • Patricia C. Sullivan (principal) -  Ms. Sullivan co-chairs Cohen and Wolf's Land Use and Zoning Group. In addition to a distinguished land use practice, Ms. Sullivan acts as associate town attorney for three Fairfield County towns. She has tried more than forty land use cases to judgment and appears regularly before Connecticut's appellate courts.
  • Jesse A. Langer (associate) -  Mr. Langer's practice focuses on litigation and employment and labor law.
  • Pamela A. Lutin (associate) -  Ms. Lutin concentrates her practice in all aspects of litigation.
  • David Morosan (associate) -  Mr. Morosan practices in the areas of business and real estate transactions and common interest community law.
