Stuart Katz to speak at CBA Seminar on Workplace HarassmentStuart M. Katz, Chair of the Employment & Labor Group at Cohen and Wolf, P.C., will be a featured speaker at the Connecticut Bar Association's seminar titled "Handling Acts of Hate and Harassment in the Workplace." Mr. Katz will discuss the employer's responsibilities once an internal complaint of harassment is made. The program will take place on Monday, February 25 starting at 6 p.m., at the CBA Law Center, 30 Bank Street, New Britain, CT. This CLE seminar will cover acts of hate and harassment in the workplace. Attendees will learn how to effectively represent both the employer and the employee with regard to these types of claims at the administrative and court level as well as in mediation. Other issues to be addressed include the Faragher-Ellerth defense and effective employer complaint procedures. Donna M. Wilkerson, chief human rights referee, Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities will also be a speaker.
