DodgeBall Tourney Benefits Shehan Center
Ari J. Hoffman, was quoted in the Connecticut Post on his team's blocked bid to claim the Cardinal Shehan Dodgeball tournament crown for a second year in a row. "Even though we didn't win, we played hard and enjoyed the camaraderie and we expect to win next year," attorney Ari Hoffman said.
The Cohen and Wolf team was one of 25 teams that competed July 25, 2007 in the Cardinal Shehan Center's second annual Dodge Ball Tournament. And while dodge ball is a game that most remember playing as a child, this tournament is for adults. "It's always fun to go back to those years," Hoffman said.
The Shehan Center provides recreational, athletic, artistic and tutoring programs for children and adults. "Dodge ball games benefit Shehan Center" by Genevieve Reilly appeared in the CT Post online on July 26, 2007.

7 Days, 7 Designers and a Horde of Volunteers
More than 40 attorneys and staff from Cohen and Wolf participated in transforming a Bridgeport residence that had fallen into disrepair after a flood, fire and multiple burglaries into a beautiful home as part of the Emmy award-winning reality program Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. A team of designers, contractors and several hundred volunteer workers had just seven days to completely rebuild the house and transform the property. Cohen and Wolf volunteers helped with construction, site clean-up, food preparation, staffing the registration and information booths, and a variety of other jobs. They were rewarded for their hard work when they saw firsthand how the home makeover has impacted the life of a deserving family.

Can You Spell T-E-A-M S-P-I-R-I-T?
On February 27, Cohen and Wolf competed against other Fairfield County businesses in the 2007 Cardinal Shehan Center Spelling Bee, where the cheerleading competition is as fierce as the spelling contest!
While our spellers finished in the top five (out of 18 teams), two members of the Cohen and Wolf cheerleading squad produced a spellbinding moment by turning cartwheels (never attempted before at this competition) upsetting the 2006 defending cheerleading champions. Proceeds from the 13th annual Spelling Bee benefit the Cardinal Shehan Center After School and Saturday Program, which serves Bridgeport youth and families.

Demonstrating the innovative approach we use to support our clients, Cohen and Wolf clinched the cheerleading competition to support our spellers by turning cartwheels.
