Cohen and Wolf Welcomes Two Law Students as Summer Associates


May 27, 2010 - Second year law students Robyn Drucker of Hamden and Rachel Schwartzman of Orange have joined Cohen and Wolf, P.C. as summer associates. Both are expected to graduate from law school in the spring of 2011.

"The summer associate program has been an integral part of Cohen and Wolf over the years," said Irving J. Kern, the firm's managing partner. "We are very excited to welcome these two outstanding young women to the Connecticut legal community and the Cohen and Wolf team."

Robyn Drucker is a student at Boston University School of Law, where she is a Symposium Editor of the American Journal of Law and Medicine. Ms. Drucker previously served as a Legal Advocacy Intern with The Women's Lunch Place, where she developed a legal assistance program for homeless/poor women in Boston. She also worked as a legal assistant for Lawyers' Choice Suites, Inc. in Washington, D.C. Ms. Drucker graduated from the University of Rochester, magna cum laude, with a B.A. in History and Religion.

Rachel Schwartzman is a student at Pace University School of Law in White Plains, NY, where she is a student editor on the Journal on Court Innovation and President of the Women's Association of Law Students. She was recently named a 2010 Ms. JD fellow and recipient of the Westchester Women's Bar Association annual scholarship. She previously worked as an intern for the Honorable Joan G. Margolis, United States Magistrate Judge of the United States District Court in Connecticut, and as a paralegal in the Appeals Bureau of the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. Ms. Schwartzman graduated from Hamilton College, magna cum laude, with a B.A. in Government.
