Ari Hoffman Honored with A.O. Samuels Young Leadership Award by the UJA-Federation of Eastern Fairfield County

Ari J. Hoffman, principal at the law firm of Cohen and Wolf, P.C., was honored with the A.O. Samuels Young Leadership Award by UJA-Federation of Eastern Fairfield County.

The award is presented, in conjunction with the Jewish Community Center of Eastern Fairfield County (JCCS), to individuals who demonstrate a commitment to Jewish communal volunteer service, and show evidence of - and interest in - developing into the Jewish community's future leaders.

Mr. Hoffman, a resident of Trumbull, has served as a member of the JCCS' board of directors, co-chair of its allocations committee, co-chair of its early childhood program, and co-chair of its young leadership program.

Award recipients receive a trip to the premier annual North American Jewish conference, the General Assembly, which attracts UJA-Federation and other national Jewish organization lay leaders and professionals. This year's General Assembly will be held next month in Washington D.C.

Mr. Hoffman is a principal in the Cohen and Wolf's Litigation and Securities groups, based in the firm's Bridgeport office. His practice focuses on commercial and criminal litigation, securities law, and condominium law. He practices in both state and federal courts handling complex commercial litigation cases; business tort claims; securities fraud actions; various criminal matters; and condominium litigation.

Mr. Hoffman earned his B.A., magna cum laude, in 1996, from Brandeis University and his J.D., in 2000, from Boston College Law School.
