Press Release Cohen and Wolf expands its Bridgeport Office BRIDGEPORT, CT, February 11, 2004 - The Bridgeport-based law firm of Cohen and Wolf, P.C. is pleased to announce that Karen Wackerman Myers, Alison Kaplan Clark and Barbara Ellis have joined the firm as associates to support the growing needs of the firm and its clients. Karen Wackerman Myers practices in the areas of corporate, banking and securities law. She previously practiced at the law firm of Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam and Roberts (now known as Pillsbury Winthrop LLP) in New York City and Stamford, and was Assistant Clinical Professor of Law at the University of Connecticut School of Law. Ms. Myers is the author of Rivera v. Marcus: The Due Process Rights of Foster Parents, 50 Brooklyn L. Rev. 483 (Spring 1984) and the co-author with Professor Phillip Blumberg of The Law of Corporate Groups - Procedural Law, 2002 Supplement and The Law of Corporate Groups - Substantive Law, 2002 Supplement. She is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut. Ms. Myers is a member of the Connecticut and American Bar Associations, a member of the Town of Wilton Inland Wetlands Commission, a member of the Board of Directors of Nursing and Home Care, Inc., and a former member of the Executive Board of the Wilton Congregational Church. Ms. Myers is a graduate of Smith College (A.B., 1979) and Brooklyn Law School (J.D., cum laude, 1985). Alison Kaplan Clark practices in the areas of commercial litigation and employment and labor law. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut and is a member of the Greater Bridgeport and Connecticut Bar Associations. Ms. Clark is a graduate of Lehigh University (B.A., 2000) and Boston University School of Law (J.D., 2003). Barbara Ellis practices in the areas of real estate, estate planning and administration, and corporate transactions. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut and is a member of the Greater Bridgeport and Connecticut Bar Associations.
