JULIE D. KOHLER is a principal and co-chair of Cohen and Wolf, P.C.'s Land Use & Zoning and Telecommunitcations & Utilities Groups. She is also a member of the Litigation and Municipal Groups. Resident in the firm's Bridgeport office, she practices in the areas of telecommunications, land use and zoning, real estate, utility and municipal law.

Ms. Kohler represents numerous major telecommunications providers and tower companies in the negotiation, acquisition and implementation of wireless telecommunications facilities. She acted as local in-house counsel for a major wireless telecommunication company and currently counsels other national telecommunication companies and tower owners regarding regulatory compliance, transactional due diligence, litigation matters, and zoning and environmental review and approval processes. Ms. Kohler lectures locally and internationally on the subject of telecommunications law. She regularly appears before state regulatory agencies and local commissions on behalf of the firm's telecommunications and land use clients.

Ms. Kohler has extensive experience in all phases of property development, including lease drafting and negotiation, zoning representation, title work and zoning compliance. She represents local and national developers and management companies. She also represents residents and municipal clients in utility proceedings, specifically defending against the ramifications of utility infrastructure siting.

Ms. Kohler is a member of the Connecticut, New York and District of Columbia Bar Associations. She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association's Planning & Zoning, Public Utility Law and Real Property Sections. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York, District of Columbia and U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut.

Ms. Kohler received her B.S. in 1989 from Sacred Heart University and her J.D. in 1995 from Quinnipiac University School of Law.
