PETER A. ARTURI serves as of counsel to Cohen and Wolf, P.C. and is a member of the firm's Business & Corporate and Real Estate Groups. Resident in the firm's Danbury office, Mr. Arturi handles business matters affecting both large and small companies, including banking relationships; capital and corporate structure; and project development and financing. He also serves as general counsel to Callaway Golf Ball Operations, Inc., where he is a member of the senior management team and regularly advises the company on advertising, antitrust, intellectual property, licensing and sports law.

Mr. Arturi speaks before various business and legal audiences, and formerly taught continuing education courses for the American Institute of Banking. He most recently spoke at a seminar hosted by the Association of Corporate Counsel in New York City, where he presented a session on Planning to Bring or Resist a Comparative Advertising Case.

Mr. Arturi is admitted to practice in Connecticut, Massachusetts and the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut. He is a member of the American Bar Association and its Business and Intellectual Property sections, and the Connecticut Bar Association and its Banking, Business, Intellectual Property and Real Property sections.

Active in the community, Mr. Arturi has held a number of positions on community and charitable boards in southern Litchfield County, including chairman of the Board of Trustees of Washington Montessori School and chairman of the Washington Historic District Commission, is Currently President of The Washington Club, and an advisory board member of The First National Bank of Litchfield. Mr. Arturi previously coached youth baseball, helped establish a youth soccer program, acted as coaching director of a local youth hockey program, and still coaches instructional ice hockey.

Mr. Arturi received his A.B. with honors in 1975 from Hamilton College and his J.D. with honors in 1979 from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
