MARTIN J. ALBERT is a principal in Cohen and Wolf, P.C.'s Trusts & Estates and Tax Groups. Resident in the firm's Bridgeport office, Mr. Albert practices in the areas of taxation and estate planning. He also spends time working from Cohen and Wolf's Westport office. Mr. Albert is admitted to practice in Connecticut; New York; and the U.S. Tax Court.

He is a member of the American, Connecticut and Greater Bridgeport Bar Associations. Mr. Albert is a member of the Executive Committee of the Tax Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, a former chairman of the Tax Section of the Bridgeport Bar Association, and a member of the Tax Section of the American Bar Association.

Mr. Albert is a former member of the Board of Directors of the UJA/Federation. In addition, he is a former member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Eastern Fairfield County and served as vice president and chairman of Allocations for this organization. Mr. Albert is presently a member of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Home Federation.

He received his B.S. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1966 and his J.D. from Boston University Law School in 1969. In addition, he received an LL.M. (in Taxation) from the New York University School of Law in 1972. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
