MARCIA M. ESCOBEDO is an associate in Cohen and Wolf's Litigation and Telecommunications & Utilities Groups. Resident in the firm's Bridgeport office, Ms. Escobedo practices in the areas of commercial litigation, housing, and telecommunications law.

Prior to joining Cohen and Wolf, Ms. Escobedo was a staff attorney at the Connecticut Fair Housing Center , a state-wide non-profit organization. While in college, she interned for Travelers Insurance and CIGNA where she contributed to a variety of accounting and forecasting projects.

Ms. Escobedo is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York, as well as the U.S. District Court in Connecticut . She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association, and the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association.  Ms. Escobedo is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association's Pro Bono Network and a Hartford Youth Scholar Foundation Mentor. She is fluent in Spanish.

Ms. Escobedo received her B.B.A. in 2006 from The George Washington University and her J.D. in 2006 from The University of Connecticut School of Law where she received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award and served as a Fidelity and Surety editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal.
