DANIEL S. NAGEL is a principal in Cohen and Wolf's Real Estate and Common Interest Community Groups. Resident in the firm's Bridgeport office, Mr. Nagel practices in the areas of real estate, environmental and community association law. He represents numerous commercial real estate developers and investors particularly with the acquisition, redevelopment, financing and leasing of properties with environmental risk. In addition, he represents community associations in their management of residential communities governed by the Common Interest Ownership Act and the Condominium Act.

Mr. Nagel is admitted to practice in Connecticut and the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut. He is a member of the Greater Bridgeport (chairperson, Real Estate Section, 1994-1995, 2004-2006), Connecticut (Executive Committee of Real Estate Section 1999-2010, Secretary 2008-2009, Treasurer 2009-2010) and American Bar Associations. From 1991 to 1995, he served on the Board of Finance of the Town of Trumbull, Connecticut. From January 2003 to December 2003, Mr. Nagel served on the Ethics Commission of the Town of Trumbull, Connecticut. He has served on the Board of Directors of Bridgeport Futures, Inc.; the Board of Directors of LMG Programs, Inc; and the Board of Directors of Hollander House, a government subsidized senior citizens community. Currently, Mr. Nagel serves on the Board of Directors of Congregation Beth El.

Mr. Nagel earned his B.S. from Cornell University's College of Agriculture & Life Sciences in 1981 and his J.D. in 1984 from Cornell Law School .
