Allan J. Rosen serves as of counsel to Cohen and Wolf, P.C. and is a member of the firm's Real Estate and Business & Corporate Groups. Mr. Rosen has practiced in Connecticut for more than 45 years and has extensive experience in the areas of commercial lending and residential and commercial real estate. He is involved in the negotiation, design and documentation of commercial loan transactions, restructurings and workout arrangements. He has, since 1972, represented financial institutions in all aspects of banking law, including bank formation, acquisitions, mergers and regulatory work. Mr. Rosen also deals with general, commercial and real estate matters, including leasing and UCC. Mr. Rosen was previously a Principal with the firm of Kleban & Samor in Southport .

Mr. Rosen is admitted to practice in Connecticut . He is a member of the Bridgeport , Connecticut and American Bar Associations and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Banking Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. Mr. Rosen has been a member of the Easton Zoning Board of Appeals and served as its chairman until his retirement from the board. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of UST Bank/ Connecticut , is a member of the National Panel of Arbitrators and the American Arbitration Association, and is the immediate past President of the Housatonic Community College Foundation.

Mr. Rosen received his B.A. in 1958 from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. in 1961 from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
