Marcia Escobedo Named to Board of Directors of CommCap
SEPTEMBER 14, 2012, BRIDGEPORT, CT – Cohen and Wolf litigator Marcia M. Escobedo has been named to the Board of Directors of The Community Capital Fund (CommCap), an organization that facilitates the flow of capital and expertise into housing and economic developments that benefit low and moderate income people in the Greater Bridgeport area.
Ms. Escobedo practices in the areas of commercial litigation, employment, and telecommunications law. Prior to joining Cohen and Wolf, Ms. Escobedo served as a staff attorney at the Connecticut Fair Housing Center.
She graduated from University of Connecticut School of Law in 2006 where she served as Fidelity & Surety Editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal and as Contributing Editor of the ABA Fidelity and Surety Digest. She earned her B.A. in Business Administration from The George Washington University.
