ALEXANDER COPP is an associate in the Litigation, Municipal, Telecommunications & Utilities, Employment & Labor and Land Use & Zoning Law Groups, dividing his time between the firm's Danbury and Bridgeport offices.
Prior to joining Cohen and Wolf, he was a research clerk at the Bridgeport Superior Court. Mr. Copp also worked as a law clerk for two Connecticut-based law firms during law school. Recently Mr. Copp was appointed Connecticut Bar Association Chair of the Young Lawyers Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, and will begin serving in July, 2016.
Mr. Copp is a 2012 graduate of Quinnipiac University School of Law, magna cum laude. While at Quinnipiac, he served as the Notes and Comments Editor of the Health Law Journal and as Competition Chair in the Society for Dispute Resolution.
Mr. Copp earned his B.A. from the University of West Florida in Psychology, magna cum laude.
Mr. Copp was recognized as a Merit Scholar, as well as an Outstanding Legal Scholar. He also won the Legal Award for Excellence.
