JOHNPATRICK C. O'BRIEN is a principal of Cohen and Wolf, P.C. and is a member of the firm's Personal Injury Group. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. O’Brien was a partner with Zeisler & Zeisler, P.C.
Mr. O’Brien’s practice includes a broad scope of personal injury matters, including automobile collisions, premises liability, wrongful death and medical malpractice. He also represents clients in matters involving workers compensation injuries and criminal law.
Mr. O'Brien is recognized as a "Top 100" Trial Lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers Association (2013-2018), is listed among the "Top 10" attorneys for client satisfaction by the American Institute of Personal Injury Laywers (2016), and has received Lifetime Achievement recognition from America’s Top 100 Attorneys® (2018).
Mr. O’Brien is a member of the American and Connecticut Bar Associations, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association of Justice. He serves as an Attorney Trial Referee, a factfinder and an arbitrator for the Judicial Districts of Bridgeport and Milford.
Mr. O'Brien holds a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Sacred Heart University, a Master’s in Public Administration from Missouri State University and a J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Mr. O'Brien and his family live in Southport.
