MARC J. HERMAN is an associate in Cohen and Wolf’s Litigation and Employment & Labor groups, and is resident in the firm’s Bridgeport office. He counsels on a variety of matters ranging from complex commercial and employment-related disputes to regulatory investigations and enforcement actions.

Mr. Herman’s experience ranges from counseling individuals and small businesses to litigating multi-million dollar commercial disputes. He has hosted legal seminars and client-trainings on various topics, ranging from employment discrimination under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Title VII to compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Mr. Herman is a native Englishman. He graduated from Nottingham Law School, England, where he was a member of its National Moot Court and American Football Teams. After emigrating to the U.S., Mr. Herman graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law, finishing in the top-three of his class. At Quinnipiac, Mr. Herman served as an articles editor on the Quinnipiac Law Review and had two essays featured in nationally circulated publications. He also received several Distinguished Academic Excellence Awards and completed a semester-long externship with the Honorable Stefan R. Underhill, United States District Judge for the District of Connecticut.

Mr. Herman is admitted to practice in Connecticut state and federal courts and the Southern District of New York. He is a member of the American, Connecticut, and Fairfield County Bar Associations.

Mr. Herman resides in Fairfield County with his wife and three children.
